Insights from the construction site
They lead local teams, brief staff on tasks and safety, and ensure every step flows smoothly. From logistics and quality control to component inspection, they maintain a clear overview while paying close attention to every detail.
Each day begins with precise planning: Material flows are coordinated, deliveries scheduled and lifting equipment organised. Our supervisors check the components, verify dimensions and document every result - ensuring that what was planned is executed exactly on site.
A major focus is on the safe handling of heavy components. Parts weighing up to three tonnes are manoeuvred with precision - using carefully designed rigging techniques, defined lifting points and clear communication between crane operator and signalman. Before each lift, a brief “lift talk” is held: who does what, what risks exist, and which approvals are in place? This ensures the assembly process runs efficiently and safely.
Once the structural elements are in position, fine adjustments begin. Our teams commission moving parts, set end positions, check tolerances and torque levels, and measure play and gap dimensions. Noise behaviour, running smoothness and safety systems are tested, documented and released only after all checks are passed. It is this fine-tuning that transforms a good installation into an exceptional one.
Communication is key: Our supervisors form the vital link between project management, design, suppliers and the local team. They clarify issues immediately, prioritise tasks based on progress and schedule, and ensure that materials, tools and information are available exactly when needed. This makes even tight timelines manageable.
At the end of the day, it’s not just another moving façade that stands complete - but something more meaningful: visible quality. Tobias, Ilir and Michael make fine adjustments wherever even a one-percent improvement is possible - a true hallmark of our company.
